Chaplaincy is a pastoral ministry of presence wrapped in compassion, healing, reconciliation and hope making visible the love of God by meeting the immediate and temporal needs of people. The aim is to support, encourage, assist, love, care, pray with when invited and empower people to seek and develop their own plan of action towards addressing their circumstantial physical, emotional and spiritual well being.

The ministry operates within a wide range of settings such as the Rangiora Community Garden, the Hope Cafe and other local cafes, private homes, workplaces, market gardens, on the street - wherever people congregate they can be met with.
